anjuta is complex， glade is enough:) （and your favorate editor）
try Gtk2::GladeXML and glade-3
IMO, the only drawback is that there is little pods for perler, read gtk document instead（devhelp or browser）

hi, there, all i request is "simply" a user interface, a way to
express the outputs from the core files and code that are implemented
in Perl.
I tried gtk2-perl today with a simple example yielding a HELLO WORLD
dialog, it seems fine so far, and i'll hang on it for more info to see
whether it meet my requirements...
I downloaded ANJUTA IDE,,,,, it's awesome...
